What problems does PAM Jaya face in providing
clean water?
There are some challenges, such as the limited raw
water sources, especially in the Thousand Islands.
There are also areas that cannot be installed by the
pipe network, and the ability to pay for drinking water
services.
What about areas that can’t be piped?
For residents who live in areas that cannot be
connected by water pipes, we provide “intermediate”
services by building water kiosks in 102 locations in
West Jakarta and North Jakarta.
What about the limited raw water sources?
Water sources in Jakarta depend on raw water from
outside Jakarta. Hence, in Thousand Islands we use
