                                                        Putu Mayang Recipe For 15 pieces
                                                        Cooking time   : 1 hour
                                                        Difficulty level   : easy
                                                        Main ingredients

                                                        200 gr         rice flour
                                                        1 tsp          salt
                                                        500 ml         coconut milk
                                                        75 gr          sago flour
                                                        1 tbsp         cooking oil to cover banana
                                                                       leaves
                                                        ½ tsp          red food colouring
                                                        ½ tsp          green food colouring
                                                        Sauce ingredients

                                                        200 gr         brown sugar, minced
                                                        2 tbsp         sugar
                                                        500 ml         coconut milk
                                                        1              pandan leaf
                                                        Directions

                                                        Mix rice flour, sugar, salt and coconut milk.
                                                        Stir well. Boil in low heat until noticeably thick.
                                                        Set aside.
                                                        Wait until it gets warm, then add sago flour.
                                                        Knead until it mixed well.
                                                        Divide the batter into three smaller cuts. Co-
                                                        lour each of the batter with red and green food
                                                        colouring, leave the last one uncoloured.
                                                        Add two tablespoons of the batter into putu
                                                        mayang molds. Put on to greased banana leaf.
                                                        Steam for 20 minutes.
                                                        Removed from wok, served with the sauce.
                                                        For sauce: mix all ingredients and bring to
                                                        boil. Skim the batter.
                                                        Ready to serve.
