four things: pedestrians, eco-friendly vehicles,
public transportation and eco-friendly private
vehicles.
The priority sets for environment friendly ve-
hicles is the government’s promise to those
who support eco-friendly transportation. The
city government would give some facilities to
those who don’t use oil fuel (BBM) for their ve-
hicles. One of them is to free the riders from
odd-even policy, exemption on tax fee and
cheaper parking fee. Massdes hopes all of the
emission vehicle owners would switch to use
electric vehicles or using non-emission trans-
port like bicycle or by walking. Or, they would
use public transportation instead.

The road service arrangement would prioritize
the pedestrians and cyclists. As for pedestri-
ans, there would be an arrangement conduct-
ed to create a safe and convenient pedestri-

had launched a bike sharing service as well
as building special lanes for cycling. They also
imposed numbers of offices in Jakarta to pro-
vide special parking area for bicycles.
According to the current data, there are 292
parking spots provided throughout Jakarta
area which can support 9,132 bicycle units. For
public transportation, Massdes explained that
