was far beyond the maximum standard
set by the World Health Organization
(WHO), which is 5%.
The high rate of positive cases of CO-
VID-19 in Jakarta shows that the trans-
mission rate is still high. Data from Ja- 7
karta Health Agency discovered that
70% of the transmission occured in pro-
ductive age group, which is 19-50 years.
Most of the transmission occured to the
age group of 20-39 years, which record-
ed around 44.5% of the total transmis-
sion.
A survey conducted by KedaiKOPI (Indo-
nesian Public Opinion Research and Dis-
cussion Group) in October revealed the
same thing, too. They invited 803 partic-
ipants and found that the transmission
of COVID-19 occured mostly in produc-
tive age: with the highest rate occured in
the age group of 31-45 years (for 30.9%)
